Delivery, Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Order and delivery conditions

1.1. Payment:

Enroll in our online courses and workshops with ease! We accept secure payments via:

  • MasterCard and Visa credit/debit cards
  • Direct bank transfer

Notes:

  • Make the payment directly to our bank account.
  • Use your Order ID as the payment reference.  
  • Important: Your enrollment won’t be confirmed until the funds clear in our account and all charges/transfer fees are fully paid.
  • To optimize payment options, you can consider comparing transaction fees and speeds between your bank and other services like Western Union.

Upon completion of your bank transfer:

  • Forward the proof of transfer (screenshot or copy).
  • Include your Order ID in the email subject line.
  • Send the email to: admissions@joyofpersian.com.

1.2. Delivery:

Delivery methods vary based on the service you choose:

  • Online courses: You will receive access to the online course materials within 1-3 business days after successful online payment. Access the learning platform here: https://joyofpersian.com/learn/
  • Workshops: Workshops will be held according to the schedule listed in the same on the same page where you applied, unless the class schedule is changed with prior notice.
  • Private classes: Since our private classes are arranged via italki Platform, their lesson policy applies. Please note that the specific terms may vary depending on the type of lesson (single lesson, package) and the reason for cancellation.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1. Online Courses

You have the right to cancel your online course registration within 14 calendar days of your purchase date to receive a full refund, subject to the conditions outlined below.

  • Standard Refund Eligibility: To be eligible for a full refund (minus transaction fees), your cancellation request must be made within the 14-day period, and you must not have accessed a significant portion of the course content. If you have started the course, a pro-rated refund may be applied based on the amount of content accessed.
  • Exception: Forfeiture of Refund for Early Content Access Our courses are designed with a weekly content release schedule to ensure a structured learning pace. However, we may accommodate student requests to unlock multiple lessons ahead of schedule.Important: If you request and are granted early access to course lessons beyond the standard weekly schedule, you are consciously bypassing the drip-fed delivery model. By doing so, you gain immediate access to a significant portion of the course’s intellectual property. Therefore, any request to unlock lessons early will render your purchase final and immediately void your eligibility for any refund (full or pro-rated).

How to Cancel:

To exercise your right to cancel, simply email admissions@joyofpersian.com within the 14-day period, clearly stating your intent to cancel the course registration. Please include your full name and the name of the course you wish to cancel.

Please note that refunds will be processed within 14 business days after receiving your cancellation request.

2.2. Workshops

Cancellation by Joy of Persian:

If Joy of Persian needs to cancel the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, we will issue a full refund of the workshop fee without any additional charges. We will notify you as soon as possible in such cases.

Participant Cancellations:

You have the flexibility to cancel your participation for any reason before the workshop starts. However, please note our refund policy:

  • Cancellations received within 14 days of booking your place on the workshop will receive a full refund (minus transaction fees);
  • Cancellations received after the 14-day cancellation period and earlier than 14 days before the start date of the workshop will receive 75% refund (minus transaction fees);
  • Cancellations received after the 14-day cancellation period and earlier than 30 days before the start date of the workshop will receive 50% refund (minus transaction fees);
  • Cancellations received after the 14-day cancellation period and later than 30 days before the start date of the Workshop will not be eligible for a refund.

How to Cancel:

To exercise your right to cancel, simply email admissions@joyofpersian.com within the 14-day period, clearly stating your intent to cancel the workshop registration. Please include your full name and the name of the workshop you wish to cancel.

2.3. Private Classes

Since our private classes are arranged via italki Platform, their cancellation and refund policy applies. Please note that the specific terms may vary depending on the type of lesson (single lesson, package) and the reason for cancellation.
