Course Content Includes:

1. The History of the Mosque in Iran: Exploring the emergence of places of worship as the earliest structures built by humans and their role in expressing the relationship between humans and God.
2. Structure of Iranian Mosques: Understanding the main components of mosque architecture, including the courtyard (sahn), portico (iwan), minaret (goldasteh), dome (gonbad), prayer hall (shabestan), and mihrab.
3. Decorations of Iranian Mosques: Introduction to the decorative arts used in Iranian mosques, such as inscriptions (katibe), light fixtures, muqarnas (stalactite-like decorations), tilework (kashi-kari), stucco carving (gach-bori), and wood carving (monabbat-kari).
